When Idris Muhammad left town, the Austrian percussion scene was deprived of one of its major attractions. Muhammad, who figured as one of the leading jazz & fusion drummers in the 70s, is returning for one evening in an engagement with Jon Sass' successor Ali Angerer. By bringing in Muhammad to round out this ensemble, Angerer, along with Puschnig, is drawing on the skills of a drummer who has accumulated ample experience in tuba quartets (a.o. with Bob Stewart, Thomas Alkier and Christoph Lauer).
