Before we begin the GuitarNightLine in February, (nearly) all of this city's guitarists will quickly be given another regular gig (it's well known that fees are lower for the NightLines). Joe Valentin lives in the Arbeitergasse (Workers' Street) and in his case this address is à propos. Valentin works calmly, quietly and almost unnoticed with his exquisite quintet to produce optimal transpositions of his compositional material. Again, something worth discovering! CH
