21:00 Ursula Slawicek & Geri Schuller Duo
He who digs a grave for others, falls in himself. Karl Kraus

Karl K. could have been referring to the Vienna Town Hall (Wiener Rathaus) when he uttered these words -- specifically, to the competitive Austrian arts industry or to the international music business in general. Maybe (music) life would be more bearable if, instead of all sitting in the same boat, we would all sit in the same grave? Then nobody would have to dig and dig and dig...

Ursula S. and Geri S. also go digging, but only for musical treasures. These are set to best advantage in the Christmas glow... Contemplative jazz/musical chamberwork in the midst of the Advent commercial crush. Tonight, (s)he who doesn't dig graves for others can be found at P&B (or in some mental ward). Peace on earth and in Vienna's Town Hall! RD

PS: In the art world, the question is not whether you have fat and eggs but rather whether or not you have a frying pan and fire. Karl Kraus
