The piano tuners from the Bösendorfer company are sceptical about this appointment... how should they attempt to tune a piano for someone who not only has absolute pitch but who also has no patience for sloppiness when it comes to piano maintenance (be it of the sound or the coat of varnish). In any case, Peter Ponger will wait outside for the tuner to make sure in advance of what will be done. And Automatic Flowers will come on only once the work has been properly done. Peter Ponger will see to it - which we think is just fine! CH
