Joris Dudli - a "Scene Drummer" with a 10 out of 10 reliability rating, who has been making himself somewhat rare around here recently, due to his apartment in NYC and the NDR-Big Band - has had the benefit of many years in NYC for attending sessions and analyzing their customs and behavior. Not surprisingly, it was Dudli who can be credited with having made Porgy's sessions fit for the public. MR
