7th SENSE is one of the youngest and most appreciated jazz bands from Romania, who in a short time span managed to build a solid image around the local and national jazz scene. Their music is characterized by complex arrangements, intricate melodies and dynamic improvisations, all of which can be heard on their debut album ‘Light in Chaos’, which was self-released in June 2022. Their journey has taught them that no matter how hard times can get, there is always a light we can cling onto in the chaos that is surrounding us. Thus, wishing to bring a ray of hope and conveying this message to the audience has become an important part of their music and identity as a band. You will be drawn in to hop along their journey, discovering a multitude of influences ranging from soul, nu-jazz to electronic and world music.

7th SENSE made important appearances throughout the years and have been part of acclaimed events and projects in Romania such as: Jazz in the Park, Bucharest Jazz Festival, JazzX, Smida Jazz Festival, Gărâna Jazz Festival. In the autumn of 2023 they made their international debut in Istanbul, Turkey at Sound of Europe. At the end of 2021, 7th SENSE won the ‘Best Band’ Award at the Sibiu Jazz Competition. In June 2022 they released their debut album ‘Light in Chaos’, which features notable jazz artists from the local scene, but also from the UK. The album was played across Europe on various radio stations: JazzFM (UK), Blue in Green Radio (UK), Dope Jazz Radio (UK), Radio Nowy Swiat (PL), Radio Helsinki (FI), IDA Radio (FI), Radio Romania Cultural (RO) and Black Rhino Radio (RO).

7th SENSE continues to push the boundaries of modern jazz in Romania and beyond, and is considered one of the most exciting and innovative jazz bands in the country, with a second album, set to be released later this autumn, on the way.
