The Federal Ministry for European and International Affairs (BMEIA) and the Austrian cultural forums and embassies support young musicians living in Austria with performances abroad in a specially established young talent program. Initiated in 2002, the NASOM program thus offers important start-up support for young aspiring musicians on their way to international careers. For the 9th edition of the music promotion program "The New Austrian Sound of Music", 25 ensembles and musicians were selected by a jury of experts in the genres of classical, jazz, world music, new music and pop/electronics for the years 2025/2026. On this evening, five bands will be presented live in 20-minute sets.
