It is always a pleasure to play for Christoph Huber at Porgy & Bess because he is one of the warmest, kindest, and most daring music presenters in Europe – and one of a handful of presenters who REALLY loves the music. When I learned that Porgy was celebrating their 30th anniversary in 2023 participating became an imperative. There are only two clubs in the world that I will always agree to perform in – the Village Vanguard in New York– and Porgy & Bess in Vienna.
