Michael Fischer, musician and composer, works on the language immanence of sounds, their sculptural and dramatic evidence, in the field of improvised / experimental music. Since the late 90s interdisciplinary collaborations in the fields of literature, dance, performance, visual media in an international context. In 1999 Michael Fischer began to integrate the acoustic phenomenon of feedback into his work and developed an exclusively analog, effect-free instrument, the feedback-saxophone. In 2004 he founded the Vienna Improvisers Orchestra with over 80 concerts so far, the last one in June 2022 at the moers feetival /D and works with international improvisation orchestras, temporary large ensembles and choirs. Since the end of the 90s, numerous projects with artists from the international improvisation scene in Europe, Lebanon, Canada, USA and Japan. Since 2005 radio and live settings with authors of experimental poetry and prose (including the Beat Museum San Francisco) Guest lectures on free improvisation and instant composition in Europe, Japan and the USA.


Bernhard Loibner is a composer, musician, and media artist based in Vienna. Active in various musical genres, ranging from experimental electronics and electro-acoustics to post-rock and free improvisation, from audio-visual to radio art, his music is characterized by the use of digital and analog electronics as well as "real" instruments and oscillates between intricate soundscapes and harsh noise structures, often carried by a pulsating element and evolving rhythmic constructs beyond metric beats. In addition to regular live performances, he has created music for contemporary dance, theater, film, and radio, as well as audio-visual pieces, collaborating with numerous artists and musicians from Austria and beyond. He has received several project and travel grants, and in 2009, he was selected for the Austrian State Scholarship for Composition. His music has been released on CD and DVD, and he has presented it at numerous live concerts and screenings in Europe, America, Asia, and Africa.
