Abstract Monarchy Trio
Very strong stage presence and an intensive concentrative state linking together the work of the three musicians are both typical of the concerts of the group, consisting of an Austrian and two Hungarian musicians. On the concerts of Abstract Monarchy Trio, their puritan, minimalist performance, using the opportunities of the sounds in an economical way and their use of noises and non-conventional sounds - under the influence of the moment - are bound together in a new, intimate, very sensuous whole, in specific, longer, meditative processes - also re-interpreting the landscape music of Cage. Trumpeter Franz Hautzinger, living in Vienna, is one of the most colourful personalities not only of the current Austrian, but also of the international contemporary music with his vivid musical, performance and theatrical activity. During his concerts in his trumpet-playing he utilizes the most intimate, on the one hand brilliantly simple, on the other unbeliavably complex and at the same time extraordinarily immersed sounds. Zsolt Kovacs and Zsolt Sores are characteristic personalities of the young Hungarian avantgarde improvised and electroacoustic music. In the recent years, during several home and foreign concert and festival appearances they developed their improvisational metamusic based on the noises of bowed instruments and various „sound objects“, of which diverse soundsequence-associations and ambientalism are all typical. Ludzie
„Ludzie“ (The Folks) group was created in Gdansk by m.bunio.s and Krzysztof Topolski (Arszyn). The band is exploring areas of improvised music, including jazz, electronic sounds, rock, hip-hop and sonoristic experiments. „Ludzie“ is a part of „Pracownia Ludzie Gdansk“, (The Folks Workshop Gdansk) - an experimental music and art laboratory, musicians collective, and independent record label. Arkona
Arkona is multimedia project of karol su/ka since 1992. I’m a musician, dj, painter, performer. In the late ‘80-tis i was the singer of the punk rock band „rewolucja guwniarzy“. In the early ‘90 I was a member of the first acid house crew „Scandal family“. Arkona’s music is a mix of dub, acid house, industrial and ambient. (Wien Modern)
