Pavel Fajt, David Koller, Alan Vitous, Milos Vacík, Mohamed Bangoura, Ephramin Goldin: drums, percussion
Ondrej Smeykal: didjeridoo

Roman Holy: keyboards

Well-known inventive drummers mostly from European countries created unique and specific art form - a composition of 10-15 drum sets and percussive instruments. The project is extraordinary - such number of drummers of various music styles has not met in one common project. Organisers want to promote new, innovative art - to use contrasts between different genres (jazz-classical music-world music-alternative music-ambient etc.), allow creative atmosphere during the workshop and present it at the performing stage. This project will promote cooperation of Czech musicians with musicians from various European countries. It will also be beneficial for their personal development, professional growth, new experiences, invention and music attitude. The whole non-commercial music scene will be enriched. Cooperation between proffessional musicians and young talents will be also beneficial from the long-term perspective. The rising interest of public in percussive instruments is expected
together with rising interest in non-traditional percussive instruments (xylophone, marimba, electronics etc.). Some of artists participated on The Gathering of Drummers in last years: Pavel Fajt,
Urna, Alan Vitous, Chris Cutler, Jim Meneses, Chris Hughes, Hearn Gadbois etc. (Pressetext)
The Drum Is A Woman“. CH
