Tom Harrell's latest album with his current quintet, „Roman Nights“, featuring Wayne Escoffery (tenor), Danny Grissett (piano), Ugonna Okegwo (bass) and Johnathan Blake (drums) was released in March this year and reached #1 on the jazz radio charts during the week of May 24. Tom is also a Trumpeter of the Year nominee, along with Wynton Marsalis, Dave Douglas, Terence Blanchard and Wadada Leo Smith, in this year's Jazz Journalists Association Awards. (Pressetext)
