Clara Luzias achtes Studioalbum „Howl At The Moon, Gaze At The Stars!“ (Asinella Records, VÖ 20.01.23) schlägt zwar wieder etwas ruhigere Töne an, doch zurück zu den intim-fragilen Wurzeln der Anfangstage geht es trotzdem nicht. Mit ihrer aktuellen Band bestehend aus Wolfgang Möstl (git), Peter Paul Aufreiter (b), Catharina Priemer-Humpel (dr) und Philipp Staufer am Mischpult schafft sie einen mächtigen Sound, der nicht vor Rockklischees wie Gitarren- und Drumsoli zurückschreckt, aber trotzdem einem Indie-Ethos treu bleibt. Wer die 1990-er musikalisch erlebt hat, wird sie live zweifellos heraushören, Claras Songwriting aber ist zeitlos und versatil, sodass sich bei einem Konzertabend von Moshpit bis Heulkrampf so einiges ausgeht.
