A world premiere!

Andrej Prozorov studied classical saxophone at the State Conservatory in Odessa. In 2001, pianist Rudi Wilfer brought him to Vienna, where Prozorov completed his jazz training with Wolfgang Puschnig at the Vienna University of Music. From 2002, he worked regularly with Joe Zawinul and Karl Ritter. From 2005 to 2013, he toured with Fatima Spar and the Freedom Fries. He has been a member of the band Zawinul Syndicate since 2014.

Andrej has played with Alegre Corrêa, Wolfgang Puschnig, Walter Singer, Otto Lechner, David Six, Jon Sass, Joe Zawinul, Vadim Neselovskyi and Karl Ritter, among others. (Press release)
