On the 100th birthday of Charles Aznavour

Unforgettable - Charles Aznavour. A special occasion to celebrate his 100th birthday with the grand seigneur of the music scene, Bela Koreny, the international mezzo-soprano Stella Grigorian and the internationally acclaimed Austrian actor Karl Markovics.

French chansons have accompanied Stella and Bela for a lifetime. When they first met musically, it was immediately clear that they wanted to perform Charles Aznavour together. Now Karl Markovics is also taking part, he reads Jean Cocteau and also sings songs by Charles Aznavour.

Stella Grigorian is a top-class mezzo-soprano who has ventured into a different genre and has been met with great enthusiasm. Karl Markovics is known far beyond the borders of Austria. He is one of the superstars of the Austrian film scene. His role in Stefan Ruzowitzky's film "The Counterfeiters", which won "Best Foreign Language Film" at the 2008 Academy Awards, is certainly one of his greatest successes. Bela Koreny at the piano. He is known as one of the greats of the music scene, the most committed musician of good entertainment, who will lead you through the evening.

Aznavour's lyrics deal with love, transience and social criticism in a special way.
