"I don't know," I called out without sound, "I really don't know. If no one comes, then no one comes. Just no one."
Christian Reiner, known as an extraordinary word artist, has the ability to convey the emotional depth of texts in a unique way with his versatile voice and intense presence. In his performances, he creates an almost hypnotic atmosphere through "word eruptions" and the extreme flexibility of his voice. With precise linguistic craftsmanship and physical expression, he unlocks abstract and emotional worlds that deeply resonate with the audience. His ability to work with pauses and silence makes his art a "feast of emotions" that lingers long after.
In collaboration with Reiner, we delve deep into Franz Kafka's complex and tangled texts, allowing a soundscape to emerge that captures the existential themes and inner conflict of his works. Reiner's art becomes an experience that goes beyond merely reciting words—it's an intense, emotional sonic journey. (Simon Raab)

Jazz music of a tremendously elegant quality, the kind that does not linger in the classical realm, but rather unfolds many interesting interconnections to other styles. PURPLE IS THE COLOR sets sail to special musical shores, to shores on which the dignified sound of jazz can develop its full radiance free of conventional constraints. The aim of Simon Raab (piano), Stepán Flagar (saxophone), Martin Kocián (bass) and Michal Wierzgon (drums) is to touch the audience with their music, release deep-rooted feelings and trigger emotions. Purple is the Color have been selected as NASOM “New Austrian Sound of Music” act 2020-21. (Michael Ternai, Mica Austria 2019)
