Improvising a functioning piece means finding the balance between a trance-like state in which attention is focused on the moment and letting go, and the awareness of being committed to a task: to create an overall composition that communicates something. Any sound is possible, whether melodies or noises, any style, any genre, any movement.

Gloria Damijan, Laura Pudelek, Michael Zacherl and Christof Zurbuchen are united by their multidisciplinary approach to improvisation, inspiration through transformation processes between image, sound and movement. Their undogmatic approach to improvisation and stylistic diversity are also unifying elements. They know each other from working together on various projects, and now they want to intensify their musical exchange and create an evening as a quartet for the first time.
