The "Django Drom Festival" is the first Austrian Django Reinhardt Festival and invites you to Vienna's Porgy & Bess from January 21 to 23 to celebrate the forefather and founder of gypsy jazz and his 115th birthday.
The crème de la crème of the national and international gypsy jazz scene will be paying homage to one of the greatest guitarists and composers of all time.
In addition to the concerts, the "Django Drom Festival" includes a children's theater, jam sessions, guitar exhibitors and a three-day workshop with Django's grandson David and Nando Reinhardt. Latcho Drom - Have a good trip.
The name Django Drom means Django's way/journey/origin and symbolizes Django Reinhardt's journey and influence on the world of Gypsy Jazz, the only European jazz style also known as Jazz Manouche.
