Verena Zeiner's piano playing made me perceive untrodden rooms inside me, on whose walls ancient drawings were still just perceptible. The idea for the duo suddenly arose while reading the poem “Drøm” by Hans Børli:

But dream your dream.
It's all there is
to shield your eyes
from all too naked sights:
The dream is flowering heather
that covers death's carvings
on the bedrock of your mind.
