Iaies & Caliva
Tango & Jazz. A combination that is very popular today, but rarely interpreted with the deep understanding and excellence that these two genres require in order to do justice to their identity and captivate the audience from the very first note. Argentine pianist Adrián Iaies unfolds a colorful musicality that inevitably captures the listener's heart. To round off this musical celebration, young Argentine bandoneonist Milagros Caliva joins the intensity of this indispensable program, which marks the start of the 3rd Festival Argentina in Vienna.

Sinesis Duo
Quique Sinesi, one of Argentina's most famous guitarists, has teamed up with his son, Augusto Sinesi, a guitarist and singer, to create a memorable first album under the name "Sinesi Duo"! With guest appearances by Carlos Aguirre, Joana Queiroz, and others, this is an album that cannot be missed if you listen to ongoing Argentine music, and the bond between father and son is extracted as beautifully pure music. Kike Sinesi is one of Argentina's leading guitarists and composers, who has left behind numerous masterpieces under his solo name and has performed with many important artists, including Pablo Seagrell, Dino Salusi, Carlos Aguirre, Silvia Iriondo, and Marcelo Mogilevsky. Augusto Sinesi is the son of Quique Sinesi, and has attracted attention for his guitarist skills, which are directly inherited from his father, and his outstanding taste as a vocalist and composer. This is their first collaboration as a duo. The deep resonance of the album's title track "Hojas y rutas nuevas" at the beginning of the album, which overlaps the fantastic guitar and Augusto's mysterious voice, draws you into the album's worldview at once. While the songs are based on the deep resonance between the guitar playing of both musicians and Augusto's voice, the up-and-coming artist Joana Queiroz joins on bass clarinet for "Nativa," which features an impressive charango performance by Kike, and Kike-Sinesi's ally Carlos Aguirre plays keyboards, fretless bass, and percussion on "Sim tiempo y sin distancia. Carlos Aguirre, a close friend of Quique Sinesi, plays keyboards, fretless bass, and percussion on "Sim tiempo y sin distancia," and the album is rich in variety. This album is a must-have for those who listen to ongoing Argentine music. The striking photograph on the cover was taken by Carlos Aguirre, and the Japanese CD will be released on the bar buenos aires label prior to the release in Japan!
