Jul Dillier 'tasten'
In his solo programs, Jul Dillier explores the inner workings of the grand piano, although in recent years he has also added other “keyboard instruments” such as the hammered dulcimer (which he prefers to call a breathboard) and the harmonium. In a suite of several so-called miniatures, he embarks on a journey of discovery through different countries, albeit only touched upon associatively. In search of the beginnings of music, the essence of sound, and the phenomenon of hearing. In search of archaic rhythms. In search of living soundscapes in which even the musician sometimes finds himself in the position of a listener.
