JAM SESSION INCLUDED join in or enjoy

snimDisco is a multidisciplinary jam session organized by snim – spontaneous network for improvised music in cooperation with choreographer and dancer Katharina Weinhuber.

snim has been organizing jam sessions with a focus on experimental improvisation since 2023, and snimDisco expands the spectrum to include dance and movement improvisation.

The opening set—consisting of dancers and musicians—is newly assembled for each location/date.

Afterwards, smaller and larger formations will be formed from all musicians and dancers who would like to jam together. The event is also open to anyone who would like to participate passively as listeners and spectators. We look forward to a large audience, and hope that the experiment will produce exciting and unexpected listening and viewing experiences. (JUUN)
