Two bands, double the groove at this Urban Fusion Session at the legendary Porgy & Bess: Elena Schäfer blends vocals, guitar, and three backing voices into multi-layered sound collages that span folk, jazz, and singer-songwriter poetry. The TExile Ensemble, led by saxophonist Daniel Kluckner, brings energetic horn sections, urban grooves, and jazzy improvisations to the stage.
