Straight from the big festival stages to Porgy & Bess: Butter Bread got the crowds dancing at Nova Rock, Sziget, and the Donauinselfest—with virtuoso horn sections and stories of everyday life in Vienna wrapped in a funk-infused sound. Now the Planet Festival Tour winners are coming to the club. The counterpoint comes from Graz: Unorthodox Radio blends velvety neo-soul with contemporary pop and jazz improvisations. Their debut album “Broadcasting” was celebrated by Ö1; the band impresses with sophisticated arrangements that blend R&B, contemporary pop, and sophisticated songwriting.
