The Flip Philipp Quartet draws inspiration from Werner Pirchner’s eccentricity, strength of character, and unconventionality, while managing to preserve the essence and core of his music. Pirchner’s musical language is carried forward, and the unbridled power and energy that were so characteristic of him are brought back to life through new arrangements... anything else would be plagiarism!
