An appreciation for the seemingly small things and a love of detail—these are the two qualities that unite musicians Lorenz Widauer and Philipp Schiepek. After first meeting as musicians at the Salzburg Festival in the summer of 2021 and recognizing these shared interests, the idea for a joint project quickly took shape. With “Bangers and Ballads,” the two now present an exciting program brimming with the joy of playing.
