These three musicians may have the blues in their DNA, but they’ve long since broken through its boundaries. All three have been “on the road” for several decades and have probably performed a combined total of around 20,000 concerts. AND they share a similar approach—the freedom with which they approach their songs. That’s why this TOUR has been organized!
Mally is a brilliant storyteller; his stories are always authentic and drawn from real life. He sings and plays his “own” blues. He is one of Central Europe’s leading blues musicians and singer-songwriters.
“There are shades of John Lee Hooker in his later work, but Oliver doesn’t copy! An impressive performance. Do try to check it out.” - BLUES IN THE SOUTH (UK)
What Peter Schneider plucks from the guitar strings, seemingly offhand, is a special treat. The class of this Munich-based guitarist can be heard in every note! The chemistry between Mally and Schneider has been fascinating for years, and their musical interaction on stage is a delight for the senses.
“Two musicians in perfect harmony. And there is no B-side to their music. ‘Sir’ Oliver Mally and Peter Schneider offer an alternative perspective on the familiar, bringing a breath of fresh air in times of limited imagination.” - BLUES21 (ES)
Roberto Luti was born in Livorno, Italy, in 1977. He grew up listening to his father’s blues and rock ’n’ roll records. And he has since become one of the best slide guitarists in the world by far.
„He is one of the finest players today, a man who plays with such passion and exuberance that all eyes and ears should be upon him.“ - THE COUNTRYBLUES (USA)
