On July 26th, 2003, at Zappanale #14, in Bad Doberan, Germany, I was amazed and completely entertained by a group called "Sex Without Nails Bros".
They performed a unique theatrical production to the music of Frank Zappa's Joe's Garage.To my knowledge, Frank Zappa never elevated his concept of Joe's Garage to the level of Rock Opera. But in a year and a half of hard work, imagination and sacrifice, this group of musicians/singers/actors, have taken the concept to the next level. They didn't change Joe's Garage; they enhanced it. If you enjoy the zany, candid variety of Frank Zappa's compositions, you have to experience this theatrical contribution by "Sex Without Nails Bros" It doesn't get any better. I loved it!
