“... no-doze music at its best: electrifying, exclamatory, dynamic, tempo-shifting,
scalp-peeling, spine-tingling improvisation that brings out the rock lover in the hearts of
open-eared jazz heads...“ (Downbeat)
Wayne Krantz, one–time sideman with Steely Dan, Michael Brecker, Billy Cobham and others, gave it all up to lead a band in New York City with Tim Lefebvre and Keith Carlock.
With a growing, cult-like, underground international following - the band has shunned mainstream label involvement – a new album, “Greenwich Means“ and an extraordinarily powerful and creative live show, the group defines the current state of the electric improvisational art. Deeply grooving and interactive, highly individualized and relentlessly innovative, this music undermines Establishment complacency at every turn.
