The Amit Chatterjee Alliance is a group of some of the most excellent musicians from around the world collaborating with guitarist, vocalist, composer and sitarist Amitava Chatterjee (Amit Chatterjee) who is known for a music that seamlessly and spontaneously flows between European and American harmonies, classical North Indian melodic forms and other profound music from the great cultures around the world, making a new music for a new time. Assimilating the wisdom gained from great musicians with whom he has played and recorded, including: Joe Zawinul (7 out of 11 total years with the Zawinul Syndicate as well having played on special projects with the great master), David Liebman, Eric Johnson, Badal Roy, Michael Wolff, Pete Lockett, Mike Clark and many others, Amit Chatterjee\\\'s compositions find full expression in the „Alliance“, with master musicians Peter DeGirolamo from Italy on keyboards, Alan Mian from the U.K. on bass and Walter Sitz from Austria on drums.
