I – David Helbock/Simon Frick Duo. David Helbock is one of the main members of the CIA and has taken the ideas from there and from private lessons with Peter in his own direction combining accoustic and electronic keyboards with complex compositions and free improvisation. One of his new groups is a duo with creative violinist Simon Frick. They have a new highly acclaimed CD released a few months ago.

II – The CIA Seven Deadly Sins Ensemble is an octet consisting of a classic string quartet along with a jazz quartet. Peter composed a piece for each of the Seven Sins: Envy, Gluttony, Greed, Lust, Pride, Sloth and Wrath. The entire work has been performed many times to sold-out audiences at the Kosmos Theater in Bregenz. Don't forget to buy their CD!

III – The CIA Silent Movie Ensemble has been improvising music to silent films every month at the Spielboden in Dornbirn for the last 3 years as well as at film and jazz festivals. Tonights silent film will be the rare and fantastic epic A Throw of Dice (1929) by German director Franz Osten. It was filmed in Rajasthan India and contains tens of thousands of extras as well as thousands of elephants, tigers, monkeys and horses. (Peter Madsen)
