The current incarnation of the Ed Partyka Jazz Orchestra was formed in 2007 and is made up of a mix of diverse musical personalities, from veterans of the European big band establishment to newcomers from the young Berlin, Amsterdam, Vienna, Graz and Prague scenes. The Orchestra is proudly international, with musicians from The USA, Germany, Austria, Holland, Switzerland and the Czech Republic coming together regularly to perform, with each member contributing their own unique artistic voice to create music that is much more than the sum of it’s individual parts. The music is an eclectic mix of original compositions, jazz standards and pop songs, all arranged in the distinctive style of the EPJO by bandleader Ed Partyka. (Pressetext)
