This album celebrates my musical roots - samba, bossa nova, baiao - and the first time I sang on a real studio, 50 years ago ... I was just a high school student at an Ipanema nun's school, and a family friend, the great bossa nova composer Roberto Menescal, invited me to participate in an album he was producing, „Sambacana“, as the lead singer of a studio vocal quartet.
