Sorry this part has no English translation
Jun, Hyoung San explores the potential of noise as a medium to understand where we are in the current society. For Hyoung San, noise represents the whole society’s collective memory. His focus has particularly been on hardware, working on large-scale installations and sound performances which use self-built instruments. His recent solo exhibitions in South Korea include <Unexpected Sound> at Banjul-Schale, and <New Normal; priori bits> at the MEDIUM. Hyoung-San also showed his sound performance at Nam June Paik’s 10th anniversary memorial <Utopian laser TV stations> at Nam June Paik Art Center, Yongin. He is currently pursuing his masters at Yonsei University Graduate School of Communication and Arts.
