Das Quartett des Gitarristen Peter Bernstein mit Danny Grissett (Klavier), Doug Weiss (Bass) und Drummond (Schlagzeug) ist eine Gruppe von Individualisten, die sich in ihrem Engagement für swingenden Jazz einig sind, der seine Wurzeln im Blues hat und sich bis hin zu den modernen Klängen der 60er Jahre und der Gegenwart erstreckt. Sie spielen Eigenkompositionen, Klassiker der großen Jazzkomponisten und Standards aus dem amerikanischen Songbook. Sie alle haben bereits mit einigen der bedeutendsten Musiker des späten 20.
