My work explores states of being and their backgrounds. The focus is on the human, sometimes also animal figure in its interaction with the people, beings and objects in its field of action. The focus is always on the possibility of change, on redemption from oppressive circumstances. The solution lies in the protagonists themselves. By virtue of their inherent vitality, they empower themselves to turn their lives around.
