Die Wiener Band LOST COMPADRES widmet sich seit 2003 dem weiten musikalischen Feld des „Americana“. Der Bogen spannt sich von Songwriter-Größen wie Townes van Zandt oder Lucinda Williams, über Springsteen und Tom Petty, bis zu eigenem Songmaterial, das auf mittlerweile drei Tonträgern vorliegt.
2004, am 1. Todestag des „Man in Black, begründen die Compadres die bereits legendäre Johnny Cash Tribute Konzertserie „no cash, no hope“. Mit wechselnden Gästen wie Ernst Molden oder Paul Plut wird seit fast zwei Jahrzehnten alljährlich der US-Musiklegende musikalisch gedacht.
Zu Johnny Cashs 90. Geburtstag bringen die Lost Compadres noch einmal ein „Best of“ des Meisters mit ihrem unverwechselbaren Sound auf die Bühne.
