Mira Lu Kovacs (5K HD, My Ugly Clementine) and Clemens Wenger (5/8erl in Ehr'n, JazzWerkstatt Wien) devote themselves entirely to sadness. Is there anything more longing, more yearning than sad songs, in which you lie down, in which you swim and sink? Songs in which you wallow until the sadness absorbs you completely, so that it gets what it so relentlessly demands and then finally, finally lets go of you. Open the door, monster in. Monster rages, monster leaves.

In addition to some of their own compositions, the duo will perform a selection of well-known songs from pop history, from "Get Lucky" (Daft Punk) to melancholy jazz classics à la Chet Baker such as "I'm Old Fashioned" and German-language songs such as "Halt dich an deiner Liebe fest" (Rio Reiser).
