Together with jazz pianist Joe Meixner, Christiana began working on her personal vision of a really good jazz pop album in 2011. The motto of the collaboration was: "Good is not good enough". First they composed together, then Christiana wrote the lyrics. The result is far beyond all expectations of such an album from Austria, or rather: could have been. This is where the Grammys come into play. The quality of the songs clearly demanded an adequate musical realization and, of course, production. "If at all possible", Christiana thought to herself and contacted the musicians of her choice for the production. Over the years, Christiana has made many musician friends and acquaintances and the phone soon rang with a few of them. They listened to what Christiana sent them, thought the material was outstanding and gladly agreed to play along. So on "How to get" Vinnie Colaiuta (Zappa, Sting, Herbie Hancock...) plays drums and David Sanborn (Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton, Paul Simon, David Bowie, Miles Davis ...) plays the saxophone. She also wanted an old friend as a duet partner: US jazz luminary Kevin Mahogany. He then enthusiastically agreed. (Hoanzl about the CD debut "How to get")
