Norbert Schneider leans casually on a bar stool while the band, consisting of Dani Gugolz on double bass, Peter Müller on drums and David Ruosch on piano, simmers around him and his guitar playing. One thing leads to another with ease and you can't help but surrender to the feelgood mood.
This performance is an excellent example of the uniqueness of this band, which is now coming together again - 15 years after their last collaboration - to treat themselves and their audience to a comeback.
Dani Gugolz - music collector and enthusiast - forms one of the genre's leading rhythm sections with Peter Müller. In their 40-year career, they have achieved cult status in the blues scene worldwide.
David Ruosch combines elegance with swing, humor with blues and has developed his own unique style.
All three have strongly influenced Norbert Schneider's musical style and his understanding of music and continue to do so. As a young guitarist, Norbert was able to learn from the best. Now it's time for their paths to cross again and for the Caravane to get going again. (press release)
