radio.string.quartet has adapted the G minor violin sonata by J.S.Bach for itself and thus places this 300 year old music in the present day. The pillars of the composition are strongly anchored and self- contained, only the garment is adapted to the musical language of the radio.string.quartet - and becomes a contemporary listening experience in which the band merges its unique sound cosmos with the baroque master’s ideas and forms.

Vienna based radio.string.quartet is a stylistic multi-cell, a micro-organism in which the individual cells communicate with each other without interfering, thus resulting in their own, unique living being.
