"Akrobat" - the new program from Tango Transit

The way in which the energy and expressiveness of classical tango merges with modern sound is unparalleled: Elements from Louisiana's Cajun music mix with the rawness of the Balkans, French musette meets oriental sounds; there's even house bass drum, wah-wah and distortion on the accordion.

"Akrobat" (JAZZNARTS) contains compositions by the band as well as three arrangements (Roger Waters' "Brain Damage", Astor Piazzolla's "Libertango" and F. Mendelssohn Bartholdy's "Elfentanz") and is the result of an intensive collaboration between three extraordinary instrumentalists.
