Wayne Darling has performed with Art Farmer, Dexter Gordon, Joe Henderson, Jazz Big Band Graz, Jim Pepper, Woody Herman ("Giant Steps" -Grammy Award ), Kenny Wheeler and many others. After a longer stay in New York, Wayne came to Austria in the seventies, played for some time in the ORF Big Band and became professor of double bass at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz. For fifteen years he performed as Friedrich Gulda's bassist with orchestras such as the Berlin Philharmonic and the New Symphony Orchestra of Tokyo. He also performs regularly with international artists and tours and records CDs with formations under his own name.
Olaf Polziehn is an internationally renowned jazz pianist who has performed with musicians such as Randy Brecker, Till Brönner, Biréli Lagrène, Bobby Durham, Martin Drew, Al Foster, Benny Golson, Jeff Hamilton, Eddie Henderson, Rolf Kühn, Lewis Nash and Warren Vaché in concerts, TV and CD productions in Europe and the USA.
T. Howard Curtis has enjoyed a multi-faceted career as a jazz drummer, percussionist and teacher for more than 25 years. He has performed or recorded CDs with many famous jazz musicians including John Abercrombie, Lionel Hampton, Barry Harris, Dave Liebman, Ellis Marsalis, Mulgrew Miller, Mark Murphy, Andrew White and many more. He has played pop gigs with Melba Moore, Martha Reeves and the Vandellas, The Temptations, etc.
