Peter Erskine's latest production, which has just been released on CD and was created in cooperation with the JAM MUSIC LAB University in Vienna, is dedicated to the music of the Viennese film music pioneers E.W. Korngold & Max Steiner.
As classically trained composers, Korngold and Steiner co-founded the era of sound film in Hollywood; both achieved world fame with film scores such as Casablanca, Robin Hood, Gone with the Wind and King Kong.
