The starting point of the lyrical-musical project is a koan from the tenth century by De-shan Yuan-Ming. Ten writers were asked to write a reaction to the old verses without any further instructions. The resulting texts were set to music by the musicians and the result of this enriching artistic exchange can now be heard on this CD. The result is associative, musical atmospheric images in the field of tension between song, spoken word performance, sound painting and jazz improvisation. "Der eine Angelhaken des Mondes" - invented, played and realized as a unique listening experience by TRiS + Nika Zach.

TRiS are Monika Dörfler, Josef Wagner and Rainer Deixler. They have been working for many years to experience the common sound, the excitingly new and unknown. The beguilingly sensitive interplay of the trio and the fortunate encounter with Nika Zach and her vocal diversity open up not only the fourth but many other dimensions.
