Since 2021 pianist Verena Zeiner and drummer Ziv Ravitz play together as a duo. Their first album The Sweetness of Finitude was released 2022. For the new album Radical Care, released in May 2025 on UNIT Records, the duo's sound palette has been expanded to include strings and an electric guitar. The pieces on this album will play with the combination of contemporary chamber music compositions and improvisation.

In the music of the album, Verena Zeiner deals with big questions.

Verena Zeiner and Ziv Ravitz met in NYC, when they both lived in the city. Their first collaboration took place on Zeiner’s solo album No Love without Justice (2020), which was mixed and mastered by Ziv Ravitz.

Zeiner is a pianist with a unique and captivating voice, blending improvised music with elements of chamber music and jazz. Ravitz is an exceptionally distinctive drummer as well as composer and a most sought-after musician in modern jazz. “The musical language that the two create as a duo is very sensitive and at the same time very finely tuned.
