Esther Wratschko
Deeply rooted in the Yiddish song tradition, Esther Wratschko combines personal stories with sensitive lyricism and innovative soundscapes. Together with guitarist Fabian Pollack, she moves between acoustic intimacy and noise with her voice, piano and synthesizer, creating a musical network in which the past and the new merge. Tradition and modernity enter into an exciting dialog that offers deep insights into the soul of an artist who explores boundaries and redefines her own voice.

25 years of Nifty's
In 2025, Nifty's celebrates a quarter of a century, because we have been playing a wide variety of stages for 25 years, from Mexican restaurants (first concert at Bodega Manchega at Franz Josefs Bahnhof) to student parties (Tüwi etc) to the big open-air stage of the legendary and world-famous Warszawa Singera Festival in Warsaw, or rather making it unsafe with our Unza music. - For a long time, Nifty's has been playing danceable music with "uptempo madness and Unza music" on stages between New York and Bucharest - now it's time for something new. Most of the new program is danceable again, but we use completely different grooves and borrow mainly from the surf sound of the 60s and 70s and from Afro-Cuban music. With singer Esther Wratschko, Nifty's is expanding its previously purely instrumental sound spectrum to include a vocal level for the first time - opening up new narrative and emotional spaces.
