Since the late 1990s, Jazzanova have been the benchmark for the combination of jazz, funk, Latin, house, downtempo, breakbeat and other related styles. Founded in 1995 as a DJ and producer collective, the group virtually co-founded Nu Jazz, belongs to the exclusive circle of producers who were allowed to lay their hands on the Blue Note archives and have been creating enthusiasm with their definition of groove in the sphere between genres for almost 30 years now; be it with highly sought-after record releases, rousing DJ sets or, since 2008, with the Jazzanova Live Band, which will be presenting the music from their debut album In Between, a now modern classic, this evening. And with the participation of some of the city's most renowned musicians and special guest Wayne Snow!
