After recording my first big band album, Tourists, in 2015, I vowed never to make another one. I was completely exhausted—I even discovered my first gray hairs that same week! But just two years later, I was back in the studio, and by 2021, I had even released my first jazz-symphonic project.
Life continues to surprise me with beautiful moments, challenges, and difficulties—experiences we all share. That's exactly what this new album is about. These compositions were written, matured, and now captured in this recording over the past few years. Each piece evokes memories and reflects different phases of my recent journey—special moments and inspiring people I've been fortunate enough to encounter.
I look forward to the moments ahead with LIFE and to sharing this music live – played by this fantastic band full of wonderful people and outstanding musicians.
