The trio consisting of Kenji Herbert (guitar), Vinicius Cajado (bass), and Lukas König (drums) first came together in Brooklyn, New York, and combine the sound aesthetics of an indie band with improvisational artistry at the highest level. The repertoire, which consists of compositions by Kenji Herbert, is constantly expanded and spontaneously reinvented with playful wit until it explodes into unexpected soundscapes. With roots in Japan, Brazil, and Austria, the three musicians draw on equally diverse sources of inspiration, which merge into an unmistakable band sound. Their debut album, “A Million Forests of the Fall,” was released in 2024.
